Charlie paid a visit to Berwick Vets following an overnight visit to emergency. When Charlie presented to us he was very unwell and had been bleeding internally.
We performed some tests and discovered that Charlie had a mass on his spleen. After discussion with Charlie’s owners, we took him straight to life-saving surgery to remove the mass.
Charlie’s whole spleen was successfully removed and sent to the laboratory for testing.
Great news, the mass tested as benign!
Charlie is now recovering well and feeling a lot better
